The Tower of Lethendy actually comprises 2 Scottish tower houses, one 19th Century Baronial & one 17th Century simple "lairds" tower. Our proposal to create a number of spectacular large spaces, along with appropriate detailing in natural sandstone & extensive use of high quality joiner shops made components, along with new on site decorative plasterwork, has lead to the Tower of Lethendy becoming a comfortable, discreetly serviced family home in the heart of Perthshire. Our work won awards from the Stone Federation for the quality of its stone detailing & the use of extensive materials in this work of alteration & "repair" of the listed Tower of Lethendy.
We were commissioned by beneficiaries of a Canadian family trust to prepare proposals for careful conservation & alteration to exacting standards, of the listed Tower of Lethendy in Central Perthshire. Through a close working relationship with our clients, we created radical alterations. These were discreet, due to appropriate and skilful detailing, allowing us to create a number of spectacular spaces & widely used underfloor heating in the ground floor. Our clients make frequent use of the property reflecting their enduring satisfaction with the end result.
