The professional team for each project is structured to ensure good working relationships whilst giving clients access to the principals, who maintain a direct involvement in the project from start to finish. Design Approach

Every project is treated individually, taking account of the location, site constraints and specific design requirements rather than from any preconceived notions of style or construction method.

This enables us to explore the possibilities generated by modern methods of construction, sustainability, context, and user needs, best suited to each project.

New Buildings

Working closely with our clients we can provide a complete service from feasibility studies, through scheme design, planning applications, production information, building regulation applications, and tender action, to project management and contract administration.

Building Conservation

We have an established reputation for our sensitive approach to historic buildings, based on thorough background research. Our services include the preparation of conservation plans, applications for conservation area and listed building consent and Heritage funding, as well as taking projects from conception to completion.

Clients

The majority of our work is repeat business for previous clients, in both private and public sectors. Clients include large multinational companies, public and local authorities, charities and Health Trusts as well as individuals. We are actively involved in partnering arrangements with clients, contractors and other consultants.

Awards

The practice has received awards for its work since soon after its formation and has continually attracted awards for both new buildings and conservation work from bodies ranging from The Civic Trust, Aberdeenshire Council, The Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland and The Stone Federation.
